Poland puts NATO on alert after Belarus violates airspace

On Tuesday (August 1), the Polish Ministry of Defence issued a statement indicating that, based on the analysis presented by commanders and service chiefs, it was confirmed that on August 1, 2023, two Belarusian helicopters violated Polish airspace.

The helicopters were engaged in training exercises near the border at the time of the incident, the Daily Express has reported.

On the other hand, Minsk refutes any claims of airspace infringement.
