In this episode we kick it off with a very short skirmish in Albuquerque on April 8th, 1862 as the Union looks to continue to push the Rebels out of New Mexico. We then move to Chatham County, Georgia and the Battle Of Fort Pulaski which took place on April 10th and 11th. The Union looks to extend it's blockade and cut off Savannah from the Confederates. This battle is also notable for the very first use of rifled guns making existing coastal defenses obsolete.
