SC - Player or NPC

Player or NPC? I'm pretty sure that was a player since the ladder was marked for me, but im not a 100% sure. I think dude was trying to retrieve his things and the ship parked next to my Nomad. He never did reach the Ares or blow up my ship. I was gonna wait for him to land but never needed to. After it looks like he gives up and explodes over the ships, I carried on with my bunker mission.
