On June 9-10, 2023, we visited the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge RR. We chased the train down the highway on the 9th, then took the round trip ride on the 10th. Colorado was beautiful and green from all the snow and rain this year. The Animas River was running bank-to-bank, but we saw little evidence of actual flooding.
