Part 9: Keelhaul Pete is going down!

Stage 5 (ship) Boss

Yep, we fight the hardest and final boss of the game.. like 23 hours later after my batteries recharged! GRRR! lol! Anyway...

Boss Keelhaul Pete: This boss is a pain if you don't know what you're doing. Unlike other bosses, he combines attacks to trap you! Knowing how to deal with them is essential, so I'll break down each attack in sections. The only thing you have to hurt him with is the bombs that come out of the tornado he makes with his body. So yeah, pick your opportunity well and make sure the bombs won't explode! :D

#1: Tornado attack: there's actually a few forms of this: where he spins for only like a second, where he spins for like 5 seconds and where he sweeps the sides of the room quickly. All are dodgeable when you recognize them. These is the most important attack he does because the bombs come out of. You can't throw bombs at him while he's all tornadoey, so wait until he stops before you throw.

#2: Call for peeps: Yeah, all he does is whistle and 2 random guys walk out of the 2 doors on the left and right sides. Just lead them to 1 spot so they don't trap you and group up and they'll be easier to dodge.

#3: Hook: All this one does is he throws his springy hook at you to catch you and bring you in for a hit! not too hard to dodge if you're far away from him because you'll have ample toime to react. But if he does catch you with it, jiggle the d-pad in all directions to get free!

#4: Gun of death!: This is his most deadly attack in my opinion. He stands on either of those platforms at the top of the screen and shoots a bullet that spreads into 2 bullets! o_O What makes this so hard to avoid is that it's random, so you'll never know if you are safe until it explodes and you have to dodge! 1 good thing about this attack, is if he calls for his peeps, this attack has a good chance of hilling 1 or both of them! :D so it's not ALL bad, lol!

#5: Jump: Not really a attack, but you do have to watch where he's going to land. If he jumps fast, he'll go far, is he jumps slow, he won't. Basically what that means is he is in the air for the same time, just the distance is varied. He jumps randomly, so there's no pattern, just if he comes for you, dodge.

Annotation fun fact corner:
7:57 Since the camera cut off near the end... the total time spent playing was 51 Minutes 27 Seconds.
