Just a Drummer - Crysis - [PC] Highest Setting | Patient Gaming

I've owned a copy of Cryisis since it came out. I can't remember when I purchased it on Steam, but I have in total 4 copies of the game, from different retailers. Never really played it. I picked up the other entries in the series for the consoles, and I have played those - fun games! But I never came back to the original. I remember this being touted as the "card killer" and how amazing the graphics were etc. I never had a system that could come anywhere close to playing it in those days, and I wasn't much of a PC gamer anyhow yet - I used my PC for learning and web/graphic design, I didn't need all the power gaming did, so I always purchased PCs that were a bit cheaper, but got the job done. And thus, my library grew and grew - many games never being played at all, some "played" long enough to attempt to get them to run before abandoning them with the others - someday I'll get to you, just not now . . .

The PC i recently purchased can totally play this game (and many others) quite well! It's not some beastly gaming rig, but it does what I need it to do - and more. Time to see what this game is all about. I HAVE played it before - at about 10 FPS if you can count that as playing.
