Exploring the Hidden Falls of Welsford: Majestic Beauty and Natural Splendor

As we embark on the trail, we'll find ourselves immersed in a serene wooded area, with the powerlines soon coming into view. Remember to keep right, following alongside the charming stream. Turning left would lead us back to the road along the powerlines. Along our journey, we'll come across the remnants of an old camp, tragically burned to the ground recently. Yet, even in its ruins, small waterfalls gracefully cascade in front of it, eventually merging into the grandeur of the main waterfall. Moving forward, the trail gradually becomes more challenging, requiring some scrambling. It's crucial to prioritize safety and maintain a safe distance from the trail's edge.

As we continue, the trail leads us along the rim of the basin, cradling the main falls. Here, we'll witness the first breathtaking glimpses of their majestic beauty. Our path then leads us to a steep hill that descends into the valley beneath the falls. To assist in this descent, ropes have been thoughtfully secured to the surrounding trees. Once at the stream below, prepare to be captivated by the most awe-inspiring views of the falls. If you're visiting during the summer months, seize the opportunity to wade into the stream beneath the falls, allowing you to experience their magnificence up close. Additionally, you'll be delighted to discover smaller waterfalls adorning the stream, adding to the natural splendor that surrounds us.
