Northrop Grumman prepares for final flight of Antares with Russian components

On the final flight of a version of an Antares rocket equipped with Russian and Ukrainian components, a Cygnus cargo spacecraft is scheduled for launch to the International Space Station.

NASA and Northrop Grumman conducted a launch readiness review on July 30 for the NG-19 mission and approved the spacecraft’s launch plan on August 1 at 8:31 p.m. Eastern Time from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island, Virginia.

Weather forecasts indicate an 80% chance of favorable conditions for liftoff as planned, Space News reported.
