Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 - Arrabbiata - Expert, B-Rank

The first time I played this song in Hyper Master Mode, it really threw me for a loop! I was expecting a routine 8-footer and since it only wanted an A-rank out of me, I figured it would be an easy pass, but I got something MUCH harder than I was ready for at the time as I kept failing to get an A due to being worn out from playing in general. XD I later found out the charts were re-rated to better reflect it's difficulty. The difficult chart was upped to a 13 on the X-scale and 9 on the old scale. Expert was upped to a 15 on the X-scale and 10 on the old scale.

Yeah... That's some serious stuff! I'd even say it's more difficult than Xepher and MAX 300 despite their step speed being faster because the steps in Arrabbiata seem trickier to nail.

Fun facts about this interesting song:

I looked up the pronunciation of the song's name. It sounds like this:

I also learned in my searches that there's a tiger and spaghetti dish with the same name as this song. o_O So I was rather baffled as to what origin the name could have even come from...

So I looked that up:

According to that wiki: "Arrabbiata comes from the Italian word "All'arrabbiata", which means "angry style". That makes sense given the aggressive string plucking, ha ha!

Finally, I noticed a lot of people don't know who the character is in the banner of the song. His name is "2st" and appears in another one of Konami's many rhythm games known as "Pop'n Music":

Arrabbiata also first appeared in Pop'n Music 10 so that explains why he is featured in DDR:SN2 here. Konami is known to crossover songs from game to game, especially in their rhythm games. Like, you can actually find Silent Hill, Castlevania and Yu-Gi-Oh music in DDR! Cool stuff huh? As a bonus to this, Arrabbiata also uses the same siren in MAX 300:
