When it's vulnerable, you can inflict quite a bit of damage on it! When it's going after you, it can wipe you out! But besides that, the strategy is the same, only you want to do it faster then you would do in the regular mode so you may have to refine your technique to get it and take some risks. Well, as much of a "risk" as unlimited tries is. :P
