Mario Golf Advance Tour Walkthrough Part 23: Confidence

Nearly every time I thought things may go sour, they went quite well! Guess' my judgement is better than I give it credit for. In any case, the Links Club is definitely not as trivial as I made it out to be here. High winds, fast fairways, tricky landing areas, pot bunkers, strategically placed water, the heath of death... It's a good test of accuracy and nerves. But... still not as demanding as upcoming courses. ;) It's kind of funny though, for a links course, there sure are a lot of in-play trees. Usually Links courses only have trees at out of play (like OB) areas or no trees at all because links golf is more about ground hazards and hills (plus wind due to the openness) than it is aerial ones.

As a side note: a common thing about links courses that I haven't played out of IRL before and that isn't in this game is that there's a thing called "revetted bunkers" where there's a steep wall of layered sod in the direction to the hole around the pot bunker. So it's like playing out of a big hole punch mark in the ground. They're actually a bit risky to hit out of because if your club hits the wall of the bunker at high speed, wrist injuries could happen. So be careful if you ever come across and have to hit out of one. Hit out of it sideways with your highest lofted club if need to be to keep you wrists safe. It wouldn't be fun to have to quit in the middle of the round due to a injury, let alone be out of playing golf for a while due to the injury if it's bad.
