It looks like Mario Golf but isn't.
It feels like Mario Golf but it's not.
It sounds like Mario Golf but still isn't...
It's We Love Golf! By the creators of.... Mario Golf! :P So while Nintendo didn't make a Mario Golf for the Wii for whatever reason (It would have fit in SO well with these controls!), these peeps essentially did on their own and it's really solid! I feel like should have played this earlier than I did for this video because it's REALLY good! XD But yeah, if you don't mind that the characters aren't Mario like I don't, definitely get this for your fantasy golf fix!

Some game spoilers that allow me to confidently say the above:
Since I made this video, I found out there are 8 main courses as far as I know (I might not have unlocked them all), with one pirate-themed pitch and putt (which I haven't played yet) and a putting course (which I also haven't played yet). Not Mini Golf persay, but "really difficult to putt on shaped as different treats" greens. Course designs are extremely creative from beginner courses like this, to expert level difficult courses with quicksand. No, not just a bunker, I mean like a Trapinch sliding sand quicksand trap, lol! There are also holes almost completely covered with bushes/heath off the fairways with tight landing areas, which is quite a test. While I beat all the tournaments with a gold on my first try already, I didn't shoot anywhere close to the -14 I did here. XD In fact, I would fairly frequently get bogeys on the hardest stuff. Though cancel them all out with birdies and a few more.
