Golf Story Blind Walkthrough Part 5: Proof Is On The Scorecard

Coach wants us to play a round at Wellworn Grove to show our skills. It's a 9-hole parkland course that is definitely early-game in difficulty as there aren't too many things that will slow you down from getting to the hole. Just keep away from any blockers like trees and play for the spots that'll give you the shortest distance to the hole on the second/third shots. Also avoid ground hazards like bunkers of course because they really cut back the distance you can hit. Especially when buried.

Funnily enough on IRL golf, if your ball is just happily sitting on top of the sand, it's pretty much like playing a regular fairway shot without any distance cutbacks because there's nothing behind the ball to cushion the impact. Except you can't ground the club (touching the ground/sand before the shot) in a hazard.
