GIVE ME THE SINCERE, HUMBLE FAITH OF A CHILD, LORD!!!

Mark 10:14-15 New King James Version
14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

I really loved this morning's passage of scripture, because it deals with a very important truth, and that is that God values children. He values the unborn, as well as those who are born, and never plays favorites. I was especially challenged by the questions from this morning's devotional, because they got me to thinking not only about my relationship with God, but as to whether or not I'm carrying or imitating a child sincerity in it. I am also thinking about what type of influence I am on young children, and I pray that my influence is a godly one. What I'd like to do right now is share these questions from this morning's devotional with you tonight and I pray that these questions will challenge you as well.

How can you imitate a child sincerity in your relationship with God?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word in regards to this issue, and I pray that what I share with you, will challenge and motivate you to have a sincere, humble, dependent, and childlike faith in your heavenly father too. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through it and motivate you to be a godly example.

How do you bless children in your family and community?

Are you a blessing to the children in your family? Are you being a genuine godly influence to them? Are you living a life, where they see Christ Jesus in you, where you are living for Jesus, with simple dependence, trust, and sincerity? We need to be very much aware of the fact that it takes childlike humility and faith as attitudes necessary for receiving God's grace, and that we remember what the NIV commentary states, “To be a part of the kingdom, we must receive it in the way a child walks through life.” I pray every day, that we choose to be as open and sincere as a child with our faith, so that we can be godly examples to others, especially children, as we receive God's kingdom every day.
