A NEW Annotation .xml To .srt Conversion Tool + Implementation Tips

Looks' like this will be the last video I'll need to make on annotation preservation unless something big happens. I may just make a more thorough video on subtitles/CCs later however because I learned a bunch of stuff on them from implementation from "how" they look when actually being viewed to some tips to get them where you want them, to some extent. After all, when you line break, it doesn't save the line break unless you put a character in, so in the case of Halloween Randomness 2 here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU9Scf30MXg

There's a bar leading upwards from the bottom with dots/periods making them look like signposts to get them where I want them to be. Sort of obnoxious, but what can you do? I mean subtitles don't offer you many options. But perhaps I can figure out more things about it as I experiment more. Hence why I said I "may" make a video on subtitles later because I'd want to make sure I exhaust all possibilities to have a thorough video on them. If any more even exist than what I talked about/showed here.

Now for the goods!

mebamme's/WhiteYoshiEgg's new tool for converting xml annotation files to srt subtitle files:
misc.eric-kaiser.net/youtube-annotation-converter/xml-annotation-converter.zip

In case that tool doesn't work because of the missing dll like I had on lappy, you can get the file from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685

The tag to add to your videos that I'll also be using in this video an example is: yt:cc=on

You can seen an example of a video using subtitles for additions to a video as opposed to a transcript to your talking here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NYJA-JGJx0

Two annotation archive places:
https://cadence.moe/misc/archivesubmit
https://github.com/gregnk/AnnotationArchive
(More may exist that I am unaware of too, so keep searching)

...and the discord server you can submit collected subtitle files to for the github archive link:

On the Mass Annotation Downloader page:

Past tools we used that I discussed here:

Get back the annofetch (By Slayweb) code page you saved to notepad or the like into html form by just re-saving it with a ".html" extention:
https://slayweb.com/annofetch/

If you already got srt files from here:
http://misc.eric-kaiser.net/youtube-annotation-converter/
...You could begin reimplementing them using the methods talked about in the video.

Notepad++ if you need it:
