We're Attending the Utah Retro Game Swap | September 9, 2023!

I love going to video game conventions, it's one of my favorite aspects of the hobby. I think it goes back to my love of G4 TV and their coverage of E3 in the early 2000s. I tried to take that aspect and apply it to how I shared footage from RC trade shows such as RCX and iHobby back in the day, and now I get to do that for the gaming world. I'm thrilled to be able to officially announce that I will be heading to Utah for the first time as We're Attending the Utah Retro Game Swap on September 9, 2023!

Utah Retro Game Swap: Super Chronicles in Time IV is being held in Layton, Utah at the Davis Conference Center from 10am to 7pm. This event promised to have collectibles, vintage toys, and of course, video games. I'm not alone at this event as our good friend John Riggs will also be there. We will be having a booth where you can come and say hi, and we'll also have many of our 3D-printed items on-site for sale.

In addition to our booth, we're also going to be co-hosting a panel with Ryan from Archades Games. We've talked to Ryan in the past and we'll make sure to put our heads together to make a fun and interesting panel. Ryan tends to dip his toes into the world of emulation a bit more than I do, but we both also focus on hardware reviews, how-tos, and more.

This one-day event is hosted by Minus World Video Games, local to the Layton, UT area. They specialize in keeping retro gaming alive in the area, with everything from the Atari 2600, Intellivision, and Collecovision to Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. We're going to try to visit the store on Sunday before our flight leaves to bring you some of what this unique store offers.
