Irish singer Sinead O'Connor, who was well known for her music as well as her activism and troubled life, has sadly passed away at the age of 56. In a statement, Sinead's family said it's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinead. Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time. No cause of death has been reported thus far. She was best known for her single Nothing Compares To You, released in 1990, which went on to hit number one around the world. In 2021, Sinead had put her multicolored seaside house in her native Ireland back on the market for 683,000 pounds after previously failing to sell the property in 2017. At the time, it was said that Sinead had been staying at her holiday home instead. The eccentric home that she put on the market offered six bedrooms, four spacious common rooms, views of the nearby Irish beaches and more.
