The apple, which is a fruit with a round or slightly oval shape, thin and shiny skin, green or red in color.

The apple is a nutritious and low-calorie fruit. A medium apple (about 150 grams) contains about 95 calories. It is also a good source of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Apples are particularly rich in vitamin C and contain small amounts of vitamin B, vitamin A and vitamin E. In addition, they also contain minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron. Apples can be consumed in many ways. They can be enjoyed raw, added to salads, juices, cooked, in jellies, used in desserts, baked in pies and cakes, or even made into cider.
The apple's versatility makes it a popular ingredient in cooking. Apples can be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably in the refrigerator to increase shelf life.
