The Devil We Know! How Satan Operates

Levels of the demonic:
1. Affected (Luke 4v38-39 - rebuked fever)
2. Afflicted (Luke 13v16 - woman bound)
3. Restricted (2 Cor. 10v3-5 - limited/held back)
4. Dominated (Luke 8v27-31 - controlled)

1. Herod like the enemy - harasses the church. Acts 12v1

2. Herod like the enemy - succeeds in killing James. Acts 12v2

3. Herod like the enemy - doesn’t know to stop, started on Peter. Acts 12v3

4. Herod has soldiers who do his bidding - the devil has demons. Acts 12v4

5. Herod has prisons where he keeps prisoners - the devil has curses.

6. Herod has chains where he holds prisoners in prison - the devil has addictions.

7. Herod has darkness that fills the jail - the devil has doubt, depression, and fear by which he controls his victims.

8. Herod has a force that’s against him - the praying church.

9. Herod has a Being who can’t be stopped by chains, soldiers, darkness, prison - that’s the Holy Spirit.

10. God’s way of prison break:
1. Light up. Light comes in the darkness.
2. Wake up.
3. Rise up.
4. Dress up.
5. Get out.
6. Get into the house.

11. Herod gets stuck by an angel for not giving glory to God - the devil will get bound by an angel for not giving glory to God.

12. Herod gets eaten by worms - the devil along with all his demons will be burned in the lake of fire, where worms don’t die.
