Ken Hensley of Uriah Heep fame and the Atlanta Rhythm Section with the late Ronnie Hammonds at the helm pilot today's Segue City Special out onto the airwaves for all to hear and none to understand. We have to get busy tidying up the studio to make way for the Mayor and his gooey machinations for the weekend segues and besides, there are plenty of beaches on the Forgotten Coast we have yet to explore that are still part of the true South...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
