The Russian troops broke through the defense of the Ukrainians NE of Kupyansk!
The biggest Ukrainian counter-attack to date is underway from Yambolivka to Torsky on the Lyman-Kreminna front with the participation of six Brigades and a large number of mercenaries!
This is the largest Ukrainian operation aimed at recapturing lost ground and pushing the Russians away from Kupyansk-Liman and Seversk.
The situation is critical for Ukrainians.
Kiev lost strongholds in the Serebryansky Forest with the Russians establishing a strong position near Torskoe.
At the same time, the Russian Paratroopers (VDV) crossed the Oskol River at Kharkiv and secured a bridgehead at Golubovka, 5 km north of Kupyansk.
The Ukrainian Command was forced to launch a general counter-offensive with Russian troops also entering the village of Petropavlovka, north-east of Kupyansk.
According to the Russian analyst, Yuri Podolyaka, the actions of the Russian army in this direction were an unpleasant surprise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military command is forced to drop its reserves in this area.
