Cochlear Implant Activation allows little deaf girl to hear

This little deaf girl hears her family for the first time in this heartwarming clip of Becca's journey.
After her parents were trying to conceive for years, Rebecca was with Usher Syndrome type 1b, an extremely rare genetic disorder which causes loss of sight and hearing. Little Rebecca was born completely deaf and she would soon start to lose her vision, so her parents decided to give the baby cochlear implants, which are electronic devices that replace the work of the damaged inner ear (the cochlea).
