If you’ve ever taken a drive out of Lethbridge, you’d know that the Highway 3 corridor stretches all the way into British Columbia.

Destination Canada has chosen this long patch of highway as part of its Tourism Corridor Strategy Program.

It is called the Sustainable Journey from Prairies to Pacific.

Erin Crane, the CEO of Tourism Lethbridge, says this initiative is key in developing the future of tourism in our region.

The other two corridors chosen by Destination Canada are the Atlantic Canada UNESCO tourism corridor and the Northern Indigenous Tourism Lodge Network through the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and northern B.C.
