Democrats in big cities would have us believe there's nothing we can do to stop the disturbing rise in murders, carjackings, unprovoked assaults, muggings are other violent crimes. You and I know that's what desperate politicians tell you when they've failed at the most important part of their jobs.

But residents have had enough. They're tired of feeling threatened every time they leave the house or not being able to walk down their own streets with a wallet or a purse. District attorneys need to start enforcing laws, parents need to raise their kids to be respectable members of the community, and all of us need to demand much more from our local politicians.
