AMC rakes in highest revenue in company’s 103-year history thanks to ‘Barbenheimer’

AMC Entertainment announced in a news release Sunday that the debuts of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” set an all-time revenue record high last week. The movie theater giant said the “Barbenheimer” craze from July 21-27 earned the company its largest single-week admissions revenue, with “Barbie” grossing $93 million and “Oppenheimer” nearly $47 million.
