A new study by the National Center for Education Statistics found that schools comprised of at least 75% students of color from 2021-2022 had the highest percentage of principals transferring to new schools. The findings revealed significantly high turnover rates in public school principals across the country, with 1 in 10 principals quitting the profession between the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school year.
