Bulgarians protest violence against women

Thousands of Bulgarians protested outside the court building in Sofia on Monday (July 31) to call for stronger measures to tackle violence against women after a recent knife attack on a young woman caused outrage. Protestor Galya Tsonkova said she believes the man accused of wounding her "deserves a death punishment".
