A New Jersey school district agreed to pay $9.1 million to the parents of a 12-year-old girl who committed suicide following repeated cyberbullying from her classmates. Dianne and Seth Grossman sued Rockaway Township School District in 2018 for failing to protect their daughter Mallory from systematic bullying, despite multiple reports to school officials about the issue. “I think that it's time for the schools to understand that we have an epidemic on our hands,” Dianne Grossman told CNN Monday.
