Self expression is important in society, but with the rise of social media we find ourselves in a time where there are a lot of mediums of self-expression and a lot of different platforms for letting our voices out, but instead of using them for good we are being silenced. A lot of people with unique ideas and perspectives on life find themselves in the heat of controversy for expressing their beliefs on the internet. That is why it's important to note the importance of self-expression and being a unique individual in life. Don't join the hive mind, but create your own belief system.
