3 men shot, 1 killed on East Shadowlawn Avenue

The Tampa Police Department (TPD) is investigating what led up to a shooting that left one person dead in east Tampa. On Friday, Tampa Police said they were dispatched to the 3600 block of E. Shadowlawn Avenue for a report of someone possibly being shot. TPD said officers found an abandoned black four-door car and that there were several visible pools of blood in and around the car, but no apparent victims. Then, police said they were notified that four men with gunshot wounds, three in their early thirties and one in his late thirties, had been taken by a private car to a local hospital. Tampa Police said one of the men in his early thirties later died because of his injuries.
