Fleeing suspect wearing bright orange worker vest fails to camouflage himself in TX brush

A suspect trying to flee police in south Texas was arrested after being spotted by a drone as they hid in shrubbery while wearing a high-visibility vest, video released on July 31 shows. The drone footage was posted on Facebook by the Aransas Pass Police Department (APPD) and shows the suspect lying down among vegetation before being approached and handcuffed by police officers. “NOTE TO THIEVES: Might be wise not to dress like a road crew worker while running from the police in a stolen car and then trying to hide in heavy brush,” police wrote alongside the video.
