DAY 37: "GOD'S PRESENCE" (Joshua 1:3-5) "Holy Spirit brings Liberty"

"GOD'S PRESENCE"

Joshua 1:3-5
Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.

THE WORK of the Holy Spirit brings LIBERTY-(v. 17), freeing us to behold God and have open access to Him: Created as the image of God, we see His uncreated IMAGE, THE SON, THE GLORY OF THE LORD-(v. 18; see 2 Corinthians 4:4-6), in two ways: (1): THROUGH THE SON'S deified humanity-(see 1 Corinthians 13:12; James 1:23-25) and (2) IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT: as we behold Him, we become what we were created to be: God is infinite; therefore, growing in His image and glory has no limits: we shall ever see God more clearly and ever be TRANSFORMED INTO HIS LIKENESS...

It was the presence of God that led the enemy being trampled under Joshua's feet. Just like the way, Christ will trample down sin, death, and the devil by His Death and Resurrection.
