In 1 Corinthians 15:45, Paul refers to Jesus as the second Adam. Jesus fulfills what Adam was unable to do for his bride. Adam didn't protect his bride from the literal dragon, but Jesus comes and protects his bride from the dragon in the most miraculous way, He sacrifices Himself and then resurrected, showing His power over death and the dragon, dealing a death blow to the dragon.
