Abounding in Hope (7) : Hope in God's Word

Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away." That statement should be one of the greatest sources of comfort and strength to us, because our Hope is based on God's Word. Not any thing in earth or even in Heaven. The Word is more certain than anything else. Where men may fail, God does not - He cannot. If God lied, the very fabric of the universe would disintegrate instantly. For by the power of God's Word all things – even our very life of faith – hold together . .
