Saddle hunting smaller tracts of private land can be a lot of work if your only option is to use a one stick or a set of sticks to climb the same 3-5 trees all season.

Ladder stand hunting is a good option for presets, but you lose all of the great benefits of hunting from a saddle.

I think that screw in steps are a cost effective choice that allows you to quietly slip into those small private parcels, up the tree quickly, and enjoy the sweet success of a saddle sit!
