Does not hurt the good bugs! I installed two XL Dynatraps and not only are the mosquitoes gone, but the spiders are gone. All the gnats around the outside lights are gone. The dragonflies and bees seem to be safe. These things are amazing. They produce a nice night light. They run 24 seven. Results seem to take 30 days to really take affect. The larger traps have more powerful fan motors. This model is the most powerful light Dynatrap makes. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the obnoxious white branding on the outside of the machine.

This was a review I did a couple years ago and this product worked good to prevent mosquitoes, but did not do anything for the spiders and gnats.
