Hungry pelican tries to steal fisherman's catch

Pelicans in San Pedro gather to beg while fishermen clean their fish and lobsters. Their pleading eyes and patience were not paying off for any of these hungry birds. The fisherman left his table unguarded for only a moment but one bold bird flapped up and onto the table. He sized up the catch and then the cameraman as he stared longingly at the buffet in front of him. It's too bad he wasn't allowed to have just one fish for all that effort!
