We were warned our roads through the estate would be resurfaced, today and yesterday. Yesterday we all moved our cars so they could remove the top surface. Today they came back to put another top surface on. We had all removed our cars again, except for the owner of one particular car. All inquiries by the road resurfacers to find the owner met a blank. In the olden days they would have just moved the car, but nowadays it has all changed, they had to go around it. Thousands of pounds and a lot of work ruined by thoughtlessness. My mind boggles.
