Tikka 223 Shooting Outer Edge Projectiles - 57gr Ball Bearing Tipped Projectile

In this video I’m trying out something a little different. I’ve found these interesting ball bearing tip projectiles from an Australian company called Outer Edge Projectiles. I’ve bought some of their 57gr .224 projectiles and loaded them up for my Tikka T3X Hunter in stainless steel fluted barrel to see how they perform at the range, both on a paper target at 100m and on a steel target at 200m. I don’t have a chronograph unfortunately, so I can’t measure the velocities of the projectiles. The energy results on my BIS Alloy 500 steel (AR 500 equivalent) were surprising.Show more
