Last rotation of intern year — Psychiatry
Shoutout to all the Psychiatrists that have the patience to take care of people with moderate to severe mental health illnesses
It’s one thing to take care of someone who is aware they have a problem
It’s another to take care of someone who completely lacks awareness WHILE maintaining absolute composure & professionalism
I was fortunate enough to work with an excellent outpatient, and an inpatient Psychiatrist who also handles Addiction Recovery Medicine!
