Ukrainian President Zelensky conducted official meetings in Slovakia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky exchanged views with Slovak President Zuzana Caputova on the relations between the two countries, the NATO Summit to be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Zelensky held bilateral and delegation meetings in Slovakia after his contacts in the Czech Republic.
The Ukrainian leader was welcomed by President Zuzana Caputova with a military ceremony.
Speaking at the joint press conference held after the bilateral meeting, Caputova said that they will take the relations between Slovakia and Ukraine to a new level and strengthen economic, defence and infrastructure cooperation.
Caputova stated that she was of the opinion that the alliance would put forward a vision regarding Ukraine's membership at the NATO Summit to be held in Vilnius, and noted that the process would gain momentum with the improvement of conditions in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the people of Slovakia for supporting his country and stated that issues such as the protection of common values, strengthening cooperation in defence and foreign policy were discussed during the bilateral meeting.
Zelenskiy said that concrete projects and steps were discussed and that peace was not far away with the support of Slovakia.
