Phil Palmer is from Charleston, SC, and is a graduate of The Citadel. After commissioning he served in the US Marine Corps with combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Once he was finished wearing the uniform, he realized that Veterans need assistance and has become an advocate for them. His organization WarriorWod prioritizes exercise, nutrition, and mentorship as prescriptions for veterans' recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress and other invisible wounds.
