Red's Shrimp Dip Recipe

Learn how to make a mouthwatering Shrimp Dip using cooked shrimp, cream cheese, sour cream, and flavorful seasonings.

½ pound cooked, peeled and deveined shrimp, leftover shrimp boil works great!

1 package cream cheese, softened

1 cup container sour cream

1 cup picante sauce

1 small white Vidalia onion, diced (optional)

1 small jalapeno, deseeded, diced fine (optional)

1 tbs. garlic powder

1 tbs. onion powder

2 tbs. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tbs. salt

1 tbs. celery salt

1/4 tsp. celery seed

2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning

Mix all the seasonings together in a small bowl.

In a larger glass bowl, cream together the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in 1 cup picante sauce.

Add the diced onion and jalapeno. Chop the shrimp and fold it into the mixture, then incorporate the spice mixture.

Let chill for at least one hour for the flavors to blend.

Enjoy this delicious Shrimp Dip at parties or as a tasty snack! Serve with crackers or chips.
