Devastating loss: Pilot's Analysis of Firefighting Aircraft Crash

I analyse the crash of an Hellenic Air Force CL-415 Firefighting aircraft this week.

Two pilots have died after an aircraft fighting wildfires in Greece crashed - as crews battled more than 50 blazes across the country.

The crash happened over Platanistos, near Karystos, on the Greek island of Evia, seconds after the plane had dropped water over a wildfire.

Footage - broadcast on state television - showed the low-flying aircraft appearing to clip a tree with its wing before disappearing into a canyon. A fireball was seen moments later.
