DNA PATERNITY TESTING RESTRICTED TO ONLY TWO LABORATORIES

The Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has restricted the DNA testing to only two laboratories in the country that is the government analytical Laboratory and MBN clinical laboratory all based in Kampala.
Aceng made the remarks while addressing the media on DNA testing in the country at the Ministry of Health headquarters.
Of recent, number of people seeking for DNA paternity test has increased in the country resulting into increased social disharmony among families.
It is against this backdrop that Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng has issued with new guidelines to regulate DNA paternity testing in the country
