Warcraft: Orcs and Humans was one of the first real-time strategy games, produced by Blizzard Entertainment and released in 1994 for DOS and in 1996 for MacOS. The game deals with the conflict between two enemy races, humans and orcs. Most units are similar and analogous, however the magic/religious units are not the same, which can be a significant factor in choosing races in a multiplayer match.

Plot
The game talks about the history between Humans and Orcs. The Orcs lived in the world of Draenor, separate from the Humans that lived in the world of Azeroth. One day, corrupted by the Burning Legion, the Orcs become a bloodthirsty Horde, which defeated the other race that inhabited Draenor, the Draenei. The Horde is made up of several orc clans from different parts of Draenor, after contact with the Burning Legion, the orcs became influenced by its power to carry out their wills. After that, the orc warlock Gul'dan gathered all the clans of the Horde and opened a portal between Draenor and Azeroth and took Azeroth by storm. The humans of Azeroth fled north of the continent to the realm of Lordaeron, where they joined King Terenas Menethil of Lordaeron, the dwarves of Khaz Modan, and the elves of Quel'Thalas to fight the Horde.
