A REMNANT FROM THE ELECT- Rom.11

Because no man is saved by works, only a remnant will be saved out of the elect. So of national Israel, the elect of God, only those Israelites who trust in Jesus will be saved. This is the remnant of which Paul speaks in Rom.11.
