As the NATO Leaders' Meeting begins in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, Lithuanian security services have increased various security measures such as fences and border patrols at the borders outside the EU countries.
Kaliningrad, the Russian territory on the Baltic Sea coast, was seen from the Lithuanian border city of Pagegiai, which will host the summit on 11-12 July. Only pedestrian movement is allowed on the Queen Louise Bridge, which is closed to vehicular traffic and connects Pagegiai to the Russian city.
