Occupation of Gerardmer Sector (Alsace), August 14-September 2, 1918, 35th Division

Reel 1, the 130th F.A. Reg't shells the town of Sultzeren in the Vosges Mts. Shows ruins in the town of Amphersbach and German trenches. Reel 2 shows a 137th Inf. supply depot at Eck; troops sharpening bayonets, reading, and playing cards in trenches; wounded receiving treatment at the Degalbert aid station; gas masks being put on patients and ambulance mules; and U.S. troops teaching boxing to French boys at Gerardmer.
