The green moray eel is occasionally seen in the daytime, peeking out of its lair. Rarely, they are found on the move, out in the open. These divers explored the reef at night, when the top predators are most active. They came upon and eel that was actively searching for fish. They have a voracious appetite and will eat several fish in a night of hunting. They are fascinating to watch and photograph but they can be very unpredictable and should not be approached closely.
